About this Activity
The Skill Builder Self Assessment Activities come next. Knowing oneself is the best bit of advice we can give students to help them find a career they are passionate about and makes them happy. A satisfying career engages their heart as well as their mind. Through a series of personal assessments, students will learn about their likes and dislikes, their values, their interests, what they do well so much more. Some of the Skill Builder responses will help populate their Go Plan found in Part three. Teachers have the flexibility to add additional skill builder activities should they want to enhance the module topic.
Creating Your Service Mission
As mentioned in this module, top hospitality companies have a recruitment focus of hiring for attitude and training for aptitude. They are looking for future employees who demonstrate the Spirit of Hospitality.

Use this Skill Builder to write your own service mission or service values.

Use the space below to write your answer. Remember, your campus faculty member and/or World Campus online course monitors are reviewing your answers below. Make sure you have properly and professionally answered each question based on what you have learned in this module and your own experiences that relate to the topic presented. If your answer is not appropriate, or if it is copied from either a friend or the internet, or does not relate to the module topic, it will be deleted, and you will be asked to repeat this activity. If this happens twice, a notice will be sent to your dean, instructor and/or course contact for further action and evaluation. Your overall success is up to you!
